Vijay Chemical Corporation (VJCHEM) was founded in Mumbai by Mr. Vijay K. Dogra in 1974.

VJCHEM pioneered in India the graphite crucible method of creating Ferrous Sulphide (FeS).

Compared to the earlier methods of preparation, the graphite crucible method of FeS production enables better control over the quality of FeS. No wonder, that reputed pharmaceutical companies such as Glaxo, Ranbaxy and E.Merck became regular clients of VJCHEM.

Today, VJCHEM is acknowledged as the finest producer of 30% sulphur content FeS in India.

Since 1983, VJCHEM has been exporting chemicals to all over the world. In 2001 VJCHEM  exported 700 MT of Ferrous Sulphide, in various forms and 100 MT of Lab/Industrial Chemicals and Stain Indicators to Brazil, Bangladesh, Chile, France, Germany, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Pakistan, Qatar, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland Taiwan, United Kingdom and USA

Dogra Chemical Co. Pvt Ltd is the sister company of VJCHEM. While VJCHEM focuses on exports, Dogra Chemical Co. Pvt Ltd caters to the needs of the local market.

Vijay Dogra has established North American company VJCHEM Canada Inc to better serve North American and South American clients.
